Rock Run Ashley is the first variety to flower in my collection, and she continues to produce beautiful, cut-worthy blooms all season long. What I particularly love about this variety is that it changes colors as if it knows the trends of the season. When it first blooms in the summer, the flowers are a dusty pink, and as fall approaches, they transition into more of a golden orange tone that fits perfectly into the autumn palette. A Dahlia chameleon! With a compact growth habit, this plant maintains a tidy appearance in the garden, but be sure to cut deep to encourage long stems for cut flowers!
