Shipping

At this time we only ship within the USA and all orders will be shipped using USPS priority mail. 

 

Please note that shipping can only occur once weather conditions allow. If tubers freeze during transit, they may become damaged upon defrosting. We will start shipping in April, contingent upon frost absence along your route (which might extend until May in colder regions). You will receive an email notification when your tubers have left our farm.  

 

All shipment costs are calculated at checkout. Should you wish to combine multiple orders, please reach out to us at meadowbrookdahlias@gmail.com. While we can't guarantee feasibility, we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

We take pride in packaging our shipments with environmentally friendly materials. Everything in your order can be either recycled or composted!

Guarantees and Refunds

When it comes to our tubers, Meadowbrook Dahlias guarantees the following:

  • Your tuber arrives viable and in good condition, with no signs of shriveling or rot, an intact neck, and at least one eye present.

  • The tuber you receive is true to the variety that was ordered.

If these guarantees are not met, please don't hesitate to contact us at meadowbrookdahlias@gmail.com. Any concerns about the condition of tubers must be brought to our attention within 5 days of arrival and must be accompanied by photo documentation in order to qualify for a refund or if possible, a replacement. Please note that refunds cannot be issued for tubers after this 5-day period, and we cannot be held responsible for issues that are beyond our control, such as improper storage after arrival, planting error, weather, growing conditions or loss or damage due to pests.

While we take great care to ensure you receive the correct variety, mistakes can happen. If you do happen to receive the wrong variety, please send us a photograph, and we will arrange a refund or replacement.

We conduct a thorough inventory of our stock shortly before launching our sale to minimize the possibility of your order being canceled due to storage issues. However, in the unlikely event that our stock becomes compromised between the sale and shipping dates, we will promptly notify you via email and issue a refund for your purchase or offer a substitution. We will not send you a substitution without your approval.

Regarding Gall and Viruses:

​

Rest assured, we prioritize the prevention of virus and gall spread through strict sanitization practices and thorough plant inspection. 

​

Please note that refunds for gall are only applicable if it is evident upon tuber receipt, as gall can potentially be present in your own soil. We are unable to issue refunds for viruses. Despite our best efforts to maintain virus-free plants and our investment in annual at-home virus testing kits, it's important to acknowledge that viruses can be asymptomatic in many cases and we cannot feasibly test every individual plant on the farm. Additionally, viruses can originate from your own neighboring plants, further complicating any guarantee. We appreciate your understanding of these limitations in our refund policy.

Cancellations/Returns

If you need to cancel an order, it's crucial to contact us immediately. However, please understand that we cannot accept cancellations or returns once an order has left our farm due to the risks involved with shipping live plant material. Once an order has shipped, the sale is considered final. 

Payment Methods

We accept most major debit or credit cards, Apple pay, Google Pay and Paypal. Please not that an item placed in your cart does not mean that item is reserved. Your order is only confirmed once you checkout and receive an order confirmation number and email.
